In Starcraft (Brood War), can the Campaign Editor be used to modify the primary game missions?

Man, that last battle is HARD! 3 against 1 is no fair (lol). Oh well, I guess the Zerg had it comin' to 'em. I beat the game years ago, and I'm almost done with it again, and I'd like to beat the game without using cheat codes. Then again, I'd also like to start off with some useful units like guardians or devourers. Can the Campaign Editor be used to access and modify the primary missions in the 3 campaigns, or can it only be used for custom games?
