Can you get a virus from downloading maps in games?
Let's say you're playing strategy games like starcraft or warcraft in which when you join a game, you download the map automatically if the map is not found on your computer. If computer A hosts the game and Computer B joins to download the map. If computer A has a virus, can computer B get infected? I don't think you would, but my friend asked me this b4 and i didn't have a clue, so i'm curios if this is pobble. ;)

- If you're playing games with levels modified by the host of course it's possible, but more likely you'll get a Trojan instead of a Virus. As long as you use some kind of software like AVG or anything that's Anti-Virus related you're in the clear. And to be really safe don't join games with few players, anything below 4 players may be suspicious. Though of course it's very unlikely and the game companies do their best to prevent anything like that.
