Explain the starcraft story from all sides?

Alright.I needa bit of help here. Im nearly finished with the Terran campaign on starcraft,but heres the jiff. I dont understand it. Basically what i got from it is this: Terrans=Exiled from earth,group of people that want to be left aone. Zerg=Bloodthirsty race devoted to the destruction of Protoss Protoss=Former rulers of galaxy,zerg attack destroys there homeland.

1. The Terran Campaign on Starcraft is only the First of Three sides of the Story. But I'll see what I can Do. *enters Lore-Junkie mode* The Terrans, as they appear in starcraft, Were once the Outcasts of Earth, Loaded onto Cryo-stasis prison ships and sent off into deep space. The Ships got Scattered across a Number of worlds, and the Prisoners were freed. After a great amount of time, A De facto government was established over the Terran Worlds called the Confederacy. But they used a lot of Tactics and Secrets that the people didn't like, such as trying to Tame the Zerg, or Nuking the Planet Korhal after it voiced some Resistance. The Protoss are a race of Psionics with an Ancient Caste system and a long, Proud history. They were created by the Xel'Naga, who Also created the Zerg. Every protoss, Save for the Exiled "Dark templar" are united through a Psionic gestalt called the "Khala" which links the mind of Every Protoss within it. They are a Proud people, and for a Time, took the Budding human Colonies under their protective Watch. When the first Zerg appeared and left wakes of Destruction in their path, the Protoss were deeply disturbed by the race and set about to eradicate them from the Universe. Sadly, the Mightiest efforts of the Protoss would not prevent them from reaching their Homeworld of Aiur. The Zerg is the Collective name to a number of species that have been assimilated into the Swarm by a Hyper-evolutionary virus. Every Zerg (With the Exception of Sarah Kerrigan) Is under the complete control of the Overmind, a sort of Mass consciousness. The Overmind employs beings called Cerebrates as Middle managament for the Broods. A Deep desire of the overmind is to assimilate the Protoss into the Swarm, to Unite the two greatest Creations of its' Creators, the Xel'Naga. There are many details, Such as the Individual characters in the Ongoing story, that I'm leaving out, and I'm only covering the Original Starcraft, not The Expansion or the upcoming Sequel, but that should give you a good Backdrop for your Three races.
