in starcraft what is the best race, terran, zerg, or protoss?

3. There is no best race in the game. Each race has its own strengths and weaknesses that are dependent on both your ability and your playing style. The Zerg, while possessing most of the weakest units in the game, compensate by being able to create units fast and cheap. Many strategies of the Zerg involve swarming tactics or sacrificing units as cannon fodder. Zerg are fast, efficient, and ruthless. The Protoss have some of the strongest units of the game from the Zealot to the Carrier. Each has special strengths and all units possess shields. However to balance this, the Protoss usually have to spend the most resources in a game. They require a little more finesse because a small squad of Protoss can usually do quite a bit of damage if used right. The Terran's greatest strength is flexibility. Each unit isn't too weak, but it isn't too powerful. Strategies often involve combinations such as Firebat-Marine-Medic rushes or Siege Tanks working to eliminate base defenses while other units move forward. If you want a more complete summary, the Starcraft manual goes over each of these races in its pages, although I don't know exactly what pages they're on. 4. Personally i think the best race depends on maps. If u Play Ladder Lost Temple then everythings about balanced but if u play money maps where resources is not the matter then protoss would be best because of unlimited resources and the way they can use one worker to build.
