Starcraft Brood War Battle.Net Latency Too High. Nobody Can Join My Games That I Host!?

ok, this has been pissing me off for a real long itme now. whenever i play Starcraft Brood War on Battle.net, nobody can join my games, cuz according to my friends who try, it says "The latency of the game creator is too high". I have an SMC router, and i tried fowarding port 6112 TCP and UDP, but that doesnt make a difference. What else is there that needs to be done? and what am i doing wrong?

  1. If you have trouble hosting games, meaning creating games and no one ever joining, this is for you. You must open up your router settings and go to "Applications and Gaming". Under Application, type Starcraft , port range 6112 to 6112 , TCP and UDP checked off, put in your IP address, and click "Enable" Under Apllications again, type SC, port range 6113 to 6119, TCP and UDP checked off, put in your IP address, and click "Enable" This following site will give you detail instructions on how to open your port for SC with almost every model of Router http://www.portforward.com/english/routers/port_forwarding/routerindex.htm
