How can u install Star Craft Brood War without the original starcraft?

it says it needs the original starcraft

1. You dont, but you can either download Starcraft from a torrent site (piratebay.org) or just go buy another copy, they are about $10 now so its no big deal.
2. Brood War is an expansion of the original Starcraft game. Legally, you must buy the original Starcraft. Many stores sell the Starcraft Battlechest which includes both Starcraft and Brood War for $19.99. Stores include: Wal-mart, Target, Best Buy. (Large stores are your best bet.)
