Does Starcraft Brood War have copy protection?

Well my real copy is kinda destroyed........Wonderin if i can make a copy without any special program!

1. Well if you want to redownload it, I am not sure on that. But I do know that before I had like 3 copies of it made so that my friends and I could all play it at the same time on LAN connection. So Yes it is copyable. If you just want to play it buy itself now though, there is a special way of doing something in the star craft folders which makes it so you don't have to use the CD if you want to play. I don't know how my brother did it but he changed the name of some folder and downloaded a simple starcraft program into it and now I don't need the CD anymore. Hope this helps!
