Strategy For Zerg VS. Protoss in Starcraft?
Public Comments
- Rush mutalisks. I havent had to say either of those words for a very long time...
- Rushing mutalisks is a bad idea LATE in the game, because scouts and carriers own them. You have two options for this. Either make 3-4 (12) unit groups of hydras with ups to range and speed, and make 3-4 zergling groups. Bind them all, click attack-move on all the groups at once to the far corner of their base. It's like a flood. The dragoons are killed by the lings, the zealots by the hydralisks. For air support, make a few units of scourge and send them in AFTER you go in, in case carriers or scouts, etc. This is a great tactic, and keep massing lings and sending them right to the base.
- stupid n00bs. stick to build orders. learn them and memorize them. teamliquid.net will help hella. keep building drones, and never stop building/making. hot key everything. always EXPAND ESPECIALLY against a protoss, you always want MORE MONEY, GAS and UNITS THEN HIM and finally, dont pile up the money and gas, you're not gonna bring that with you when your zerg dies. use it. no zerg player should ever have more than 300 minerals and 200 gas. practice your APM level (actions per minute) download it and see where you're at. BWChart. Average Pro Koreans are about 220
