How can you play Terran vs Protoss?
I've been playing TvP for a while now to improve my 1v1 skills. But I have a problem. Against Protoss, if I manage to survive the mid-game, in the end-game, P gathers a group of goons and zlots, then recalls with arbitors into my main or expos. I've tried to counter this with a few turrets around my bases, but sometimes the P just uses hallucination to bypass the turrets unharmed. By the time I start sending reinforcements, he's already recalled and cloaked. If I manage to beat back the first waves, he just mass recalls. Solution, anyone? Hm. I don't think marines work in TvP. Usually, I go metal in my TvP games. And rines would NOT stand a chance against upgraded goons and speed zlots. As the pros play it, I go vult+tank+goliath, maybe the occasional vessel+nuke, or against noobs... 2 rax rush. ( Though 2 rax rush has even worked on some pros )

- try to be quick, and bombard the base with all of your forces, like siege tanks, marines, etc good luck
- Yeah, Protoss are the best of the three late in the game in my opinion. The only real way to counter this, is to not worry about your defenses, and have enough offense to take them out faster. Hordes of Marines fully upgraded is one strat. Siege tanks take to long to wipe someone out.
- There are a few ways you can counter this: 1. Have about 20 marines around your base, and also have bunkers, and as soon as u see the arbiter, use the stim pack and put the marines inside the bunkers, and also hav smthing like 6 tanks that are spred around your base, so that they will have a harder time reaching the tanks in time. 2.Put vulture mines around your base, everywhere, and when they recall, they'll recall right into your mines. 3. Prevent the recall with Wraiths, goliaths and valkyries. (make sure that u scout the area around ur base with these, so that you can catch the enemy before he reaches ur base.) 4. Have a few ghosts around ur bases and lockdown the arbiters...the halucination will vanish when u lock them down and the real arbiter will stay locked down, and u can finish it with any other units that u hav around ur base. EDIT::5. Another strategy that i recently used against this tactic is having a Science Vessel in your base, and when the arbiter comes you EMP him, and he won't have enough energy to recall. All of these strategies work, so you can choose one of them depending on which strategy u r using, so it will fit your strategy.
