downloaded starcraft brood war maps dont work?

ok so i really wanted to play tarpit defence and tank defence and all those type of game sets and so i decided to download them because i had no idea how to create them so i have tried to play the map but it is all in a melee setting so like there arent any triggers and there is fog of war in the levels so im stuck on how i can play the games anytime without these issues

1. When you go to play it in Starcraft BW, you have to make sure to click on 'Use Map Settings', otherwise it'll just be like a normal map.
