starcraft 2 can you play as protoss in the solo game?

can u im worried cuz i would luv to play as the protoss in the story mode but gamespot said that starcraft 2 wings of liberty would foucs on terran but im not sure about everything else so ty for helping

1. starcraft 2 will be released in 3 seperate packs. Wings of Liberty- terran campaign Heart of the Swarm- zerg campaign Legacy of the Void- protoss campaign even though wings of liberty will be terran campaign, you can play as any race in multiplayer. However there is a short bonus protoss campaign in wings of liberty, but you have to unlock it first. on starcraft.wikia.com it said "Wings of Liberty will include a protoss mini-campaign based on Zeratul, focusing on the 'greater threat'. It must be unlocked. It will consist of a series of missions, and will include other protoss forces. However, it will not include all units, buildings or upgrades, as its purpose is to tell a story, not to prepare a player for multiplayer. The mini-campaign is not separate from the main terran campaign; rather, there are missions where the player plays as protoss.
