how do I make my pirated version of starcraft brood war work on battle.net?

I have the latest patch.When I enter the multiplayer, it shows me the gateways(Asia, Europe, etc.), but whe I try to enter one of them, it tells me that battle.net didn't properly recognized the version, what to do?

1. Sounds like you like the game so buy the expansion if you want to play online.
2. The big problem with pirated software, you can't go online because the system will recognized it 99% of the time as a pirated version. You're stuck offline without an actual unique CD key.
3. You can't. Not on battle.net . You need a original Starcraft cd-key to play on battle.net. My advice is to buy the game, it's no that expensive and simply the best RTS game out there ;) P.S. You can play on other great Starcraft servers like iccup, wgtour, find your local server(every country has one), and other.
