What is the most popular and unpopular race in Starcraft.?

In alot of polls I've seen that Terrans are the most played ones and the Zerg the least. Protoss hover in the middle? Is this correct?

1. That doesn't sound right to me. The most hardcore players use Zerg and Protoss. the Terran are usually associated with newbs or very dedicated pros
2. Yeah, I think the zerg is creepy
