Good pc games to play?

i want a good game to play that i can play for a pretty long time im not paying subscriptions but 1 time price of the game itself is ok i used to play conquer online it is free but the bulkers have ruined the game games i've played: starcraft halo 1 and 2 conquer online eudemons online world of warcraft call of duty 1234 and world at war ... genres: fps rpg strategy war thanks in advance

2. on the computer, Oblivion and Fallout 3 and Mass Effect. The first two are bethesda, so you cna mod the heck outa em each; them both had thousands upon thousands of mods. Mass Effect is just because bioware is one of the best story telling rpg makers.
3. try the game runescape, it`s pretty good and they have free memberships, or if your like me and play the game a lot you can pay $5 a month and be a member.
4. FAR CRY2 , CALL OF JUAREZ,Prince of Persia : The Two Thrones, Crysis........................all work with vista ...........good games you can enjoy without being online
