I don't know where to get them, but I warn you nothing on the internet is free. Meaning you may get a virus or can be an illegal source of games. Hope this helps!
uhh jack it from your friends. but other than that free and legal doesn't really go together. well there are sometimes free games and freedownloads.com but I'm not guaranteeing it being there.
That is a rare occurrence. The only legal situation is where you can download ad-powered free games. They are free but filled with annoying advertisements. I think you can still download an ad-powered version of Farcry, I remember seeing it awhile ago on some website.

If you could do that, then how would Blizzard make money? There are plenty of free games out there, like Glest and Warzone 2200. They're both free strategy games that are quite a lot of fun. Torrent sites. Of course you will need a torrent client before, which i recommend getting Utorrent. Then go to demonoid.com or any other torrent website and you should be able to find it. then it gets a little complicated. You have to download a virtual disk drive program such as MagicDisc. You then "mount" the .iso file (or the cd file which is acting like an actually cd you would put into a drive) into MagicDisc. From then on you just install it like you would a pc game that you bought at the store. :)
