Use codes in multiplayer starcraft?

Is it possible I can use cheat codes in multiplayer starcraft? When I have entered a code, it didnt work. The code I entered was sent to my allies. I remember typing in a code in a multiplayer game and it worked. Can you explain to me how I can enable the code. Thanks.

2. You can't.. Unless you were playing some other type of game and somehow they had what you needed. You were probably playing a USM and they have different settings when you start the game like. Units Spawn fast or they're invincible or something. Trust me theirs different games on Battle Net. Battle Net won't allow you to use cheat codes. It only works on Single Player trust me. Unless you start hacking but then that causes lag. I did this too when I was a noob. I entered show me the money and the code didn't work. I realized cheat codes won't work online. You all on your own. Hope I helped.
