I need a fun computer game to play with my friends?

My friends and I are avid PC gamers, but recently we've been at a loss for games to play. Were looking for just about anything, just something new. Some games weve played so you guys don't suggest them *Civilization series *ANYTHING Half-life related *Total war series *Age of empires series *Starcraft We don't want to have to pay a monthly fee, but the purchase of the game in no obstical Were also looking for something more strategy like as opposed to a shooter, so rts's, or mabye even rpg's might work if you can play multiplayer for free.

5. Garry's mod. There is no point at all. But that's the fun of it. Its your game. You decide how to play. There is a one time fee of 9.99. But you need a engine. Since you mentioned Half Life, I guess you have it. That would work perfectly. Any game from valve really. It still might be considered a shooter, but in the end, its what you make it.
