What are some good tips when playing Starcraft or Brood war?

1. Zergs are good at rushing your opponents. If you can make a small army of zerglings pretty quickly, you can wipe out less experienced Terran or Protoss. If you are Terran, then you need more and more SCVs. Try to get as much resources per second as possible and get to those tanks. I've never been good at Protoss. I always just built hordes of proton cannons for defence, but be aware that Terrans can get past those with seige tanks.

3. if you play the as the zerg, kill everything at the beginning with zerglings. as the protoss, always build up your defense before offense. As the terran, use bunkers for a mix of offense and defense. Never try to rush the zerg. you will be slaughtered. The protoss are arguably the best to rush because all of their units are expensive. hit them quick and hard. the protoss can be the most powerful in brood war, thanks the dark archon and templar. use the remplars for stealth, and then use dark archons and a shuttle to control the probes behind enemy lines.
