- StarcraftBW just doesn't work with routers man im sorry. I had the same problem b4 and ill honestly say i completely re programed my router and it still didn't work. BW doesn't interact well between the temp IP your router gives you and the router's IP. The only way to get around that problem without more trouble then it is worth is to bridge around ur router.
- you have very high latency because your ports are not forwarded.. 1.find command prompt and type in ipconfig and remember your last number of your ip address and the default gateway ip which will make you to login to your router 2.type the default gateway ip in your web browser login to your router and find port forwarding then for applications type in starcraft starting port 6112 ending port 6119 protocol set to both and the last number of your ip address 3.check the enable box save settings turn off windows firewall and if it doesn't work then your router is very slow or you may have forwarded the ports to the wrong last number of your ip if you don't know your last number of your ip address go to command prompt and type in ipconfig then look at your ip address and the last number would probably be something like this 192.168.0.13 hope this helps
- i just followed konfuzed instructions and now i can host starcraft just do the following and it'll work the other guy that just answered and said routers can't host starcraft well he is a retard i can host and im using linskys g speed so forward the ports to your last number of your ip address and wala works enjoy hosting
