How do I listen to my own music in StarCraft/Brood War?

I know I got this game a little too late, but I could never find this game anywhere 'til I saw it Target as a Battle Chest for $19.99. I remember that in the demo I got a few years ago had music I didn't like a lot. do I have to download any kind software to do so?

1. windows media player in the backround. thats what i do to play world of warcraft.
2. yeah just turn the sounds off in the games options and play windows media player in the background.
