in starcraft why does zerg rape protoss so badly?

1. both are evenly balanced so I think it comes down to has a better grasp of the race. zerg were made to be cheap and easy to manufacture but are weak so build massive amounts, protoss are more expensive but last longer and are harder to build.
2. their both balanced but i guess cause zergs are cheaps you can mass alot of units easily but toss is expensive but they have really strong units
