can u download starcraft using ur friends disk?

also, is brood war vital for good starcraft gaming? wat r the system requirements? and i need more info for battle net!!!!!! ok thanks.. bt im still confused so when ur playin, lets say not on battle net, u still need to have the disk in? wat about on bat net?

3. Yes you can, But everytime you wish to use the game you must put that CD back into your CD-ROM. Their are illegal ways to avoid the CD thing but like i said their Illegal and are against yahoos TOS

Brood war would be vital for good online gaming because there are many more units that would make the game more challenging. you can download it to your computer with your friend's cd but you would need it everything you play unless you get a special program that lets you play without the disk. Otherwise he can just burn a disk for you but when he is using the cd key, you can't go on and when you are using it, he can't go on. System Requirements 126 ram memory minimum 512 mb free space a keyboard a mouse a working sound card remember, starcraft isn't a new game. When it came out, windows 2000 breally came out so it wouldn't need much requirements. When you are playing starcraft, Battle.net or by yourself, you still need the disk.
