for starcraft brood war, how do i put heroes in a game?

everytime i edit a campaign map, when i put a heroe in, or soild units or special building. when i play the map , i dont start with those, all i get is a command center and 5 scv

1. u have to chose USE MAP SETTINGS in the lobby. It should be on melee as a default.
