Starcraft 2 Protoss Strategies? i bought starcraft 2 this week and poured hours of my life to it. but in multiplayer games, i only play teams. i want to try 1v1 but i need a good strategy. can someone help me out? and please dont szy use cheats. im trying to win without them. i searched it up and then it said something like "9 pylon" can you describe that please? oh and add me 'xownsnahhx' so you could own me.

Starcraft 1, Terran counter to Protoss Zealot + Dragoon force? Hey so I've been playing Starcraft 1 a lot recently (because I'm excited for Starcraft 2). I'm trying to become an expert at the Terran race, but I'm having troubles beating this one particular Protoss strategy. The Protoss player will build like 3-5 Gateways and just produce tons of Zealots and Dragoons. Then it seems that no matter what force I have, they always get slaughtered by the waves of Zealots and Dragoons that they are able to produce so fast! What are some ways to counter this using Terran? It is always within the first 10-15 minutes of the game.

In the game Starcraft what is a good midgame/endgame strategy with Protoss? I play a little Starcraft but I'm still pretty noobish. I've had the game for a while though so I know how everything works and I can get things set up pretty good. I usually play 2vs2 on Fastest maps. In the beginning I start off really good and can start pumping out loads of zealots and dragoons really quickly. However after that I don't know what I do. What should I be aiming for? In mid-game the farthest I got from massing zealots and dragoons was to get 5 shuttles and drop them in the bass. What should I do for strategy or what am I aiming for with Protoss in midgame/endgame.

Starcraft 2 help with Zerg vs protoss? So I run Zerg and my friend runs Protoss and owns me every time. He has this strategy where he just barracdes himself in his base with cannons and expands out. Then he goes star gates and masses carriers. Anyway around this. I can't seem to do anything to get pass his cannon turtling. And banelings don't really do the trick. Any advice?

Starcraft 2 Terran vs Protoss help? How do you keep up with early rushes by protoss players early on in the match, they send a few zealots and just start doing work, I can more-less contain them but then when it comes to air combat they just zerg me with void rays. I can't pump out the same strength. It's especially annoying because of all the shields and this usually ends early. The few times I can almost win is when I turtle and just shed out a shitton of battlecruisers and flood my base with turrets, in which case I can do a pretty good counterattack after they've exhausted, but this can usually last like 2 hours. any strategies you might know?

Some good strategies for Starcraft 2? I love Starcraft, but for over ten years all I've played against is the AI. Starcraft 2's AI gives me a fun challenge (I have a hell of a time with very hard AI) but the AI is very predictable. I'd love some great strategies to keep up with my friends (my friend completely raped me with three reapers) and beat the very hard AI in the late game. I usually play Protoss just because their early game units can take a lot of hits and also dish out the pain. Typically, I start by building 2 probes, 1 pylon, 2 more probes, then a gateway.

Starcraft 2 Questions ! ! SC2.? Hi guys, I'm in the bronze league and would like to move up. I'm a bit of a noob so I need a full explanation if possible! 1) I currently play Protoss. What are other people playing and WHY. What's the best strategy for a win as any race? Is a particular race more adapted at something than the other? 2) I would like some Protoss strategies as well as other races if possible, at the moment I prefer playing Protoss. I'm not currently that good at real-time strategy game but we can all improve right? So if someone could give me some some good ones I'd be grateful. 3) What do I do against rushes such as my opponent immediately sending all of their drones/SCVs/probes to my base to attack? ok, i need help with sc2 protoss play please, someone who knows how to play, not a noob who thinks he knows.? i really need help with the protoss class, i have no idea what to do anymore... im in bronze league like 30th place, i have gotten to 14th place but for some reason completely suck now, my old strategy was to photon cannon up my base and mass carriers, but for some reason it stopped working, someone told me that, that strategy will not work, and got told to micro my units, like zealots and stalkers and colossi, but im just so confused on it cause when i try i fail horribly, i do not know what to do, do not know how to even play anymore.. i just want some answers on what units to build, maybe a specific strategy with those units. idk. I need help versing Protoss in Starcraft...I play as Zerg.? I play as zerg and I've been trying to beat my bro. But what here's the strategies he does.. 1. He'll dark templar rush me... Within about 7-8 mins into the game... 2. he'll build dragoons, templars,and reavers, and 1or 2 dark archons, and sometimes archons. what i've failed at building is zerglings hyralisks, and muties/guardians/devours... How to become great at Starcraft 2? I just bought Starcraft 2 and I am extremely terrible at the game. I can't even beat the campaign modes on the easy setting. I don't know the units, I don't know the strategy, and I'm almost completely lost. What should I do to become good at the game, should I continue to play in campaign mode? Starcraft Protoss tips? I've been playing starcraft with some people in my dorm and find myself constantly losing to this one @-hole Terran player (my roommate) who always builds up a bunch of wraiths. His whole strategy involves making obscene amounts of missile turrets, wraiths and nukes; he has virtually nothing else. Should I just make a whole crap-load of dragoons and pair-'em up with a bunch of observers, or should I pair carriers up with observers and maybe an arbiter? (A couple carriers can take out the turrets if they're far enough away; it just takes a little bit, but he always shafts me with the wraiths before I can get too far). Last game I almost took him out really early (he builds virtually no marines), but his @#^@ base took off before I could finish him, and I hadn't built up enough dragoons to take 'em down.

Starcraft 2 Account-Reset Help, Redoing the Placement Matches? I am a Starcraft fan for many years and in Starcraft 1 i used Zerg. In Starcraft 2 I attempted my same strategy, but it fail in most of my placement matches and am in Bronze and Silver. Now i use Protoss and i am always on top at the score screen, but my teammates are always horrible because they are new to the game. Is there a way to reset my account to redo my placement matches. StarCraft 2 Terran Strategy? Hello, I am a StarCraft 2 player currently in the practice league about to move myself up. However, I am having difficulty doing well against more experianced opponents and would like some advice. I would prefer to not have video links posted (unless they're really informative) because, and I'm kinda backwards in this, I prefer to read things than to see them played on youtube. If you can't describe tactics or just have a great video, go ahead and post I'm just asking specificly for any good readable articles or advice. Ok, so I have the very early game laid out okay. I got it from a youtube video (havn't found many good articles yet). I build SCVs until I have 9, build a depot and SCVs until I have 12, a Barracks, a few Marines, 13 SCVs, a Refinary, 15 SCVs, a Supply Depot, and Upgrade to Orbital Command. After that I have attempted a couple of rudimentary strategies. The first is to simply create a hoard of Marines, Maurauders, and Medics. This one works when I have a good partner with to give good Armor support, and my enemy rushes me and wastes all their dudes. I'll meintion right now I've only played 2v2 because I'm in the practice legue, if I should leave and try 3v3 or 4v4 or just use my next 30-odd 2v2 games please let me know. Okay, so the next strategy I tried involves amassing the 3Ms, but a few less in favor of either Reapers, Banshees, or both. I'll use these units to raid, wasting some time but interfereing with my opponent if they don't have good rescource managment. I've gotten some dude to cuss me out for doing this, and won a couple of games with this strategy, but more for my hoard of Marines/Maruaders/Medivacs than the raiding. The most recent strategy I've tried is in response to the Protoss enemies amassing the flying death beam air ships (Void Rays?). My 3M strategy is excellent against Protoss ground units if I overproduce Marauders, but does little against this. In response I'll invest in a few Vikings. This strategy seems to work depending on the skill of my partner, and at most has gotten me through one attack with a weaker partner rather than being killed outright. I'm not sure what to do for the armored layout, and I havn't tried much all-air strategies (more like 1/2 air 1/2 infantry). Also, the times I've bought late-game Thors and Battlecruisers I've done poorly, yet the times I havn't also frequently come back to haunt me. I'm learning the hotkeys but that's something that will get better as I practice. Sooo... any advice?

protoss strategy?????? I'm an extreme novice for Protoss Starcraft 2. I was wondering if you can advice any step by step strategy. Like 1. make something, send pylons, etc. I'm so slow, and I don't know which one to make first, when to make pylons to beat Terrans. Terrans are super fast, and when i make monsters and attack, my entire monster disappears in 5 seconds even without moving terrans army. They attack with those wierd gun shooting things. And how do those terrans make those nuclear bomb?? That frustrates me; I make like 50 huge army, i prepare to attack, and before i move, my entire territory explodes, because of terran. keep the reaver in starcraft2? hu thinks blizzard should keep the reaver in starcraft2??? it was one of the most powerful for the protoss and their r so many strategies on how to use it effectivly. and of course my favorite....carry them to enemy sites and destroy their workers

Sc2 bronze league help? Well im stuck in the bronze league and im a protoss player. I used to be rank 1 bronze league until i moved house and was without internet for about a month. Now im back im rank 11th and sure enough the guy thats now rank 1 is negative for games (w/l) (Unlike me) and is still a good 300 - 400 points above me. The Best Starcraft Race? I know this has been a bit overasked, but what are your guys' best race? For me, I started with Protoss because they were "cool", then switched to Terran because they could cloak and nuke, realized that it was by far the hardest race to play, switched to Zerg when I discovered 9pool strategies, and have recently started on Protoss again because of their Archons and Psi Storm. So for me: Protoss=Easiest race, good for newbies, strong units. Zerg=Best race for a short game, but harder in the long run (my least played race I think) Terran=Contrary to popular belief, the HARDEST of all 3 to play, due to the insane micro required to use them. However, they also have the most potential out of the 3, hence why Slayers Boxer (greatest SC player who ever lived) plays with them. But I think I prefer Protoss XD

Starcraft 2 - Doubling my units/structures? In starcraft 2 (protoss) I try to make my probes get minerals and make a few pylons for some more probes. Terran vs Terran HELP!!!? I am in platinum league at the moment. I beat every protoss and every zerg that comes my way, even when they are in diamond league. I am in need of desperate help. I watch so many videos and look at so many strategies yet i cannot beat terran. I will go for siege tank vikings but they always catch my siege tanks out of position or use banshees. So I mostly play Terran, is there any site or you-tube vids that could help sharpen my strategy? Or well give me a good strategy. I normally mass marine + upgrade them to full, but it only works 50 / 50 (stupid siege modes / colossi) I did try massing thors and marines together once and i kicked but, but all those players were noobs so it was a gg at the start. I tried it again later and got my ass handed to me. I suck at reaper rushing, i don't know why people do it, it puts you in a bad economic position if it fails. any suggestions? help? I really, really want to get better. I have experience with my race, i play everyday for at least an hour. 80% of the time i do loose (3v3 is all I play) And most times i'm like second to last, not good. But if i do good, (rarely) im normally top 3. Thanks for your time and I hope you help a fellow sc2 player out!

Anyone play starcraft? I love protoss a lot and I was wondering what's good to go. I'm so sick of always going zealots and dragoons that this strategy doesn't even work anymore. What are some good units to make for protoss?

My strategy in sc2 is so lame? Yeah so i play as protoss. I usually shut myself in with photon cannons with two bases inside. After making a massive wall of cannons, i make as many carriers as I can and decimate the enemy. It hasn't failed against normal difficuly AI but I think i need to review my strategy if i want to beat harder enemies. I need opinions on my techniques and tips from your own, or a pro's experience. Cheers. (Btw if i need more minerals i mothership out some probes and build another base, which i totally enclose in cannons) Thanks for the advice on ground units! However do I still make a fleet on the side? Or should I focus on ground only?

starcraft brood war zerg mission 8? in the mission where you have to destroy the protoss base in half an hour, I just can't do it. the game guides' strategy doesn't work for me. anyone beat it? can you tell me your trick for that mission? thanx do i capture the terran base to the south for the resources? how many hatcheries do i need? thanx i beat it. with 3 groups of hydras, 5 groups of lings and 5 guards to clean up the base after. and i unlocked the bonus mission too.

Calling all starcraft players!? I need help big time. My computer class is having a tournament and my match is tomorrow and its tag team with my brother. We are both noobs and we are facing seasoned competetorsl We are both being protoss and i think they're being 1 terran, 1 zerg. Now how do we win? Is their some strategy, because we REALLLLY WANT TO WIN! Is their some strategy or cheat or something we can use in multiplayer or ANY HELP?! PLEASE HELP US!

I need help in Starcraft? I need a big favor. tomorrow, I am versusing basically the best starcraft player in town. It is gonna be a two on two. He is so cocky and i know it kills the fun of the game but i just wanna beat him once. Just once so he would finally shut up. My race is protoss and his race is zerg. He is so good. I mean he embarressed me so badly but taking out all my photon cannons with 6 zerglings and the orange cloud that makes anybody in it invinsible. That was so smart. Anyways, does anyone have a really good strategy from start to finish. I need a detailed strategy (don't be lazy guys). I need to know everything from how to stop his rushes, to how to rush him myself. I also need to know what to do in the long run and what is the best offense and defense strategy. Some of these battles can last about 2 hours so less. There has to be someone out there that is better than him so can that person please helpp me.

starcraft strategy help? sadly i can only face the computer until i get starcraft 2. but in facing the computer i'm still having difficulties. i'm trying to focus on the zerg, and i always win against the protoss and zerg, but get my ass raped by the terran. i tried playing terran vs zerg and it was wicked easy. any clue what my flaw is in this, or is the computer just way too cheap

Some starcraft strategies? okay well im asian and i suck so bad at starcraft i bring dishonor to the asian race and should kill myself but i was born here and dont really give a fuck anyways its pretty fun but i always get raped on battle net i like terran cause they look pretty tight but protoss just seems soo much stronger and easier so what strategies? can you just list what strategies to use during early middle and late game. Just list what units i need and such, no need for any explanations. I went to a forum and it was too much reading... so yea but if you guys know about terran than can you tell me some stragegies for terran as well. ty

Starcraft strategies? The enemy has about 4 Reavers, each has 5 scarabs, damage is not upgraded. They also have 6 to 8 Protoss Scouts and observers, upgrades are unknown. How do I defend my base against this kind of attack? I'm Protoss, by the way.
