Where to download starcraft 2 maps? What's the best place to download starcraft 2 maps from? I want lots of maps for when the game comes out, including some maps for starcraft and maps for starcraft 2. Also, if they have starcraft 2 mods and maybe replays that would be great too!

Where can i download starcraft 1 without paying for it and I want the actual game not the demo? i went to some websites that have a free download and i download it and all of them are demos or all i could find were mods for it i just want to download the full game without having to pay for it and no viruses please thx

Starcraft 2 Campaign units in Galaxy editor? When I am making maps in the Galaxy Editor for Starcraft 2, I cannot find the units that came out in the campaign. Such as vultures, Jim Raynor, or Spectres. I have seen them in custom maps that have been online. Is there a way to enable or download a mod package?

I'm having trouble downloading Starcraft 2 Patch 1.2? Ok, I'll just tell you everything. I installed Starcraft 2 on the admin account of my mac but I only play on a different account but when I tried to install it on my non-admin account, it said it was at 0% but it was finished so it let me play but it wasn't actually downloaded. After this I tried it on my admin account and it said that I was missing something like Mod.CORE for the Mods Folder. When I re-tried it on my non-admin account, it says: Could not initialize storage. You may not have permission for designated path. I tried running the repair application but that didn't help so I am now probably going to un-install it unless there's something else I can do. Also, if I do re-install it, does it matter if I do it on my admin account or not? I know this is alot to answer but if you guys can help me I will be VERY grateful.

Will a game MOD replace my orignal game forever? I want to download a MOD for starcraft, but I don't know if it will replace my game, or if it will come as a seperate program. I still want to keep my orginal game. Also, I don't know anything eles about MODs, so any info will help.

Patching starcraft 2 beta help needed please? Okay, I pre ordered starcraft 2 from gamestop and got my beta key. Downloaded it fine, and installed it fine. But now once I get to the patch after 10.0.14803 I get this message "An error was detected while verifying the contents of the file "C:\Program Files (x86)\StarCraft II Beta\Mods\Core.SC2Mod\Backup.MPQ". There may be a problem with your system, or with the drive at C:\. You can try updating again. If this problem persists, you may be able to solve it by uninstalling and then reinstalling the game. If you are unable to correct this problem, please contact Blizzard Technical Support." Does anyone else get this problem?

How do I apply a mod for Warcraft III? I just downloaded a mod for Warcraft III that converts it into Starcraft, and the site (moddb.com) didn't contain any info--that I could find anyway--on how to apply the mod i.e. Where to place the files/folders in the directory, what I need to do to the game to accept the mod, etc. I am fairly new to modding, and any help would be appreciated.

Alternative to World Edit for Warcraft 3? Is there any other cool program or mods I can apply to World Editor to make it easier to create maps, or reduce system resource usage, or anything like that? Starcraft's StarEdit had a bunch of alternative downloads to edit maps. NOTE: I want to download a NEW 3rd party program, I do NOT want to change settings/anything like that.

My starcraft 2 keeps freezing at 88% someone please help me i dont wanna admit i wasted my money... =(? Is console gameing superior? Well consoles have better multiplayer and a much larger online community and has the best exclusives (rts being the exception)and offical xbox magizene said rts are makeing a slow migration to consoles ex.command and conqure,halo wars,hell even starcraft had bonus missions and a co-op mode on consoles pc's have better graphics due to better anti-alising and higher resolutions,mods,better rts,steam,and the abilty to download games illegly but pc gamers get terrible versions of games designed for consoles crysis 2 is a console port :( i love pc gameing but whats your opinion

I have had this laptop for nearly 2 months and have so far been very pleased with it. However, recently it has begun to freeze in the middle of a game. The mouse will still move, the music will still play, but the computer refuses to do anything such as going into the task manager. Also, my install of Starcraft 2 has apparently been corrupted. I tried reinstalling it and at around 50% it said it couldn't install a certain file, (sorry, don't remember which file) so I tried to reinstall a few more times and would start with that message. After a few tries it resumed reinstalling and got to 87% before giving a similar message (the file name ended with something to do with the probe unit model) and so i tried playing and it worked initially with this 87% install ?? although now when I open it it goes into the patch downloading service and tries to download a patch i already have. It stays at 0% then says "finished" and when I try to play it says there is an error with that patch...When i try playing Empire Total War and load any of my campaign saves it minimizes the game and says "this program has stopped working"...it says the same with Battlefield 2142, but only occasionally. I can play Empire Total War skirmishes fine. Another instance was when I was playing SW Forces of Corruption with the FX Mod alpha installed and was half way through a skirmish when it froze, with the music still going and the mouse still moving but I could do nothing. This also happened a while ago in SC2 in the middle of an online game and I was forced to force shutdown the computer. I would have tried to reinstall every game that had an issue but the problem is as of right now I am out of bandwidth and so my internet goes at a crawl so I would have to download all the different patches for all the different games which could take several days. I was wondering, what is the usual course of action for a problem similar to this? Any help would be greatly appreciated as this is a very expensive laptop and I would like to get it back to working form...sorry about the long post but I didn't know what would be relevant. So it can handle anything with ease, it just started these issues very recently. And most of the games I play are quite old ones. So if your answer is that it can't handle it, that shouldn't be it. What program do I use to make a Team Fortress 2 map? I'd prefer if the program were on Steam or directly from Valve, as I wouldn't exactly feel comfortable downloading something that modifies Valve software without being created by Valve. VAC paranoia and all of that. I have experience with light programming, a lot of mapmaking in other games, (namely Warcraft 3 and Starcraft 2) and some light Garry's mod stuff. As long as it's not something that I need to be a technological genius for, it doesn't necessarily need to be easy to use. Although if it is, of course, that's great. I don't seem to have a tools tab on Steam. There is one at the bottom, but it only shows "hlds update tool (Windows)" and "hlds update tool (Linux)"

Where can you download Starcraft 2 mods? For some reason, there doesn't seem to be a good and coherent website that gives me a list of all mods, does anyone know of one that does?? I was thinking about mods that can give new units or buildings? Do they even exist or are there only new maps?
