Starcraft RPG

I remember a long time ago a Starcraft RPG site, is it still up? A long time ago (some 6-8 years ago) there was this Starcraft RPG website where you start off with the basic Marine weapon and armor, you go off and fight Zerg or Protoss (depending on level). You kill them and level up and you get money, buy more weapons like the C10 from ghosts etc. I was wondering if this site was still working and if so, could I get a link to it? Do you remember what the name was?

Do you like the idea to make a movie for starcraft? Even though it is not a RPG but I thought the starcraft campaign story is better than any of the RPG story. It is not about saving the world, not about destroying gods. The story of starcraft consists of honour and justice, evil and treachery. The ending of Sara Kerrigan leads her Zerg minion to rule the galaxy sector and leave Protoss and Terren sadly beating was classic. I think the directors like Jess Whedon or Michael Bay can direct the story into a trilogy when they are bored enough with ass-kicking hot teen girls or large shape changing robots. I think a movie “starcraft” will be much better will be much better than any of their ideas before.

Will Starcraft II win Game of the Year? Now that Blizzard has announced the release date, it looks to be more than promising. The beta is out right now but it only has a fraction of what SC has to offer. Even though its just a beta, it's amazing. The game play is second to none and it is very addicting. In the final release will offer first person shooters, third person shooters and RPG maps. You can even play lost viking SC2 style!! I dont think any of those games are as good as SC2

starcraft 2 or diablo 3 or something else? imagine diablo rts. lol. i doubt diablo 3 since it would conflict with wow. so i think a rts is most probable. blizzard has been much of a rts, and rpg game maker, unless they are going into race cars or something else. blizzard is hiring a mobile worker. i wonder if thats with psp console. or cellphone with starcraft. lol

Should I buy Starcraft or Warcraft (digital download from Blizzard)? I'm an avid gamer and I have the opportunity to buy one game off of the Blizzard website (they're up for digital download). I am stuck between Starcraft and Warcraft and I need help deciding between the two. Good RPG/RTS game for the computer? It would be nice with online capabilities, but not really a MMO (I don't have enough time to commit to these). I've been stuck on the Blizzard games for the past few years (Starcraft, Diablo 2, Warcraft 3). I'm waiting for the next wave of those games to be released. I also have played TitanQuest, Age of Empires (all of them), Neverwinter Nights (both), and Black and White (both). I'm not really hardcore into gaming, more of a casual gamer. Any good video game suggestions For Pc? I have a great computer for gaming so there is no prob there for what I can run. There is no good games out there at all. All the games I have That I really enjoy playing is Garry's mod and killing floor. But i have already been in and out through that game enough to fall asleep while playing it. Most recent game I bought was APb. Its a good game but they need to add a lot of shit for it to be any decent. Counter strike source i have over 2000 hours of game play. I have MW2 and Bc2. Mw2 is a horrible game and Bc2 i put in a good 300 hours were i pretty much did everything you can do. I have Bioshock 2 but I am not a big fan on story fps games, I am not big on MMo's only tried Apb and not big on Rpg. CSs and Starcraft was my fav. R.U.S.E is the best guess for me to buy and I am excited if they make a Red Orchestra 2 and a Killing floor 2. I hope this gives an Idea for what games I like. Even indie games are appreciated I love trying new stuff. I have Team Fortress 2 as well. lol I have beaten fallout 3 and have played spore and didn't like too much

playing diablo 2 in asus eee pc? i have a eee pc windows xp installed directx installed video resolution is 800 X 600 diablo 2 installed however: if i run the game.exe the program says it was not able to run diablo 2 due to video settings. maybe the screen is to small is there an anyway to configure my laptop (asus eee pc 4G)so that i can play diablo 2? diablo 2 is an old blizzard rpg game i can play starcraft and warcraft trough the same laptop. how come i cannot run diablo 2? thanks.

Are you, or anyone you know, good at making Warcraft 3 maps? Here's a bit of history before I get to my main point. Back when I was playing Starcraft [another Blizzard game] I had had the opportunity to play one of the best RPG maps made for the game, Elements RPG. It was relatively balanced, and although there were different versions, they usually stayed the same with a few unit changes. On to the point. Warcraft 3 has a much better and appropriate map creator for the Elements map, and I'm looking for someone who knows how to make maps using that editor. I feel that although Elements RPG was good, it never lived up to its potential, and so far, I haven't seen anyone try to remake it for WC3. Are you up for the task? Can you do it? I have a few text files with some relatively simple directions and requirements for the map, as well as a very young map with little in it and the original [as far as I know] map of Elements for Starcraft. The map was originally going to be done by a friend, but they started playing WoW, and so I'm requisitioning a stranger here on YA. I know it's an odd place to ask for this favor, but hey, why stick to just Q&A? Obviously, anyone who has played both Starcraft and Warcraft, as well as the Elements RPG map would be the best candidate for the task. Any takers?

How do you fix Starcraft battle.net "Strom_error_Requires Uprade"? I just bought the game again after not playing it for a very long time. I had the random urge to play the RPG maps you make on it...rambling sorry. I do the update it will tell me its complete program will now restart, and it will bring me back to the Multiplayer connection select screen. Then a pop up comes up saying "Storm_Error_Requires_Upgrade". Does anyone know how to fix this? I'm pretty stumped o.o;

does anyone know the name of this game? This game is a strategy/rpg game, you can buy your own troops and play online with other people. there are two sides, maybe 4 I think, and you have to spawn on certain map and if you win you will capture that piece of land. I remember a feel units you can buy from shop, one is Jammer, it jams your minimap. What games can this play? Okay sooo I bought a broken down laptop that i managed to fix...so im wondering to my self, what to do with it to kill time in class...so i need suggestions... Good RTS game for a new fan? I've always loved games ever since I got my n64 at the age of 6. I' 14 now, and love all sorts of genres from rpg's like fallout 3 to fps's like bioshock. One genre I never really touched on is the rts genre Yesterday I went to a birthday party at a place called switchbox. Its a place with a bunch of top notch computers that you pay $4 an hour to go on. You can then select an array of games. With 5 friends there with me, we played Warcraft 3: frozen throne expansion. That was the most fun I've had in ages. I got beaten hard because I hadnt played before, but it was awesome. The game lasted over an hour. Recently I got a new$1300 computer to be able to play high end games and run software. I want to get a really good rts with a balance of gameplay and HOPEFULLY but not mandatory good graphics and sound. Warcraft? Starcraft? Command and Conquer? Company of Heroes? What would you recomend and why?

Low sys req games for? HP pavilion 7865. i only have 128mb ram max. what games are actually fun for this lil bit of system requirements? i love rpg's Diablo2 but ive tried the games like dark eden and pheonix dynasty etc. but they didnt really entertain me and i love strategy games like starcraft but im bored of that..so what free mmo or single play games do any of you think would reach my expectations for 128 mb RAM and a semi low/med low graphics card?? plz mention if the game you mention is single play or mmo plz :)

any good games i can play? i feel like i have played all the good games my system can run! i got an older be very capable system that was pretty much built around halflife 2. (athlon 64 3200+, radeon x1600pro, 2gb RAM) i love sci-fi games of all types. RPG, RTS, FPS, etc. i also really like simulators (microsoft flight sim) and military type games (COD and battlefield series) but i feel like i have exhausted the list of games that i know of... so my question is, do you know of any fun games that i may have overlooked? i prefer newer nicer looking games (just started to become picky about graphics... not sure why) some examples of my favourite games are: -xwing alliance -X3: reunion -world in conflict -C&C 3 -COD 4 not a very broad list, but im limited on how much i can say here... anyway, try to list AS MANY AS POSSIBLE and try not to list the obvious ones or ones that im sure i'll get a million of (WOW, starcraft, halo, etc... like i said, i have pretty much played em all) try to keep my specs in mind too as i mentioned, my current specs are as follows: cpu: athlon 64 3200+ gpu: radeon x1600 pro 512mb RAM: 2gb ddr2 not great, but capable.
